Work Experience:

2012 - Present

Antelope Valley Hospital

As Phlebotomist (CPT3), performing blood draws on all ages in the emergency

room, inpatient floors, and outpatient facilities. Receive and collection

verification of specimens daily, coordinate and distribution of lab labels

to be done for the A.M. shift. I perform 40 to 50 draws daily and perform

tests such as blood cultures, newborn baby screens, lactic acids, ammonia

testing etc.

2011 - 2012

Olive View-UCLA Medical Center / Quality Imaging

As a Phlebotomist, I handled performing blood collection from all ages,

pediatrics-geriatrics on inpatient and outpatients in the laboratory and

bedsides. Performing blood culture tests, 1st tri mister tests, glucose

tests for pediatric, and geriatric patients.

Octapharma Plasma, Inc.

As a Phlebotomist, my job duties were to perform venipunctures for plasma

collection, monitor donors for reactions, collect blood samples, and also

process plasma for shipping.

I provide security for various events and clients in the entertainment

industry, such as MTV and the NFL. I also supervise a crew of other

security personnel, where my duties include crowd control and guest

services.

Additional Experience:

2004 - Blood Drives-Applied my training in participation at various local

blood drives for 6 moths while awaiting my State Phlebotomy License

2004- Phlebotomy Externship, Loma Linda Hospital-As an intern, I performed

proper sterilization techniques of blood withdrawals using several

different equipment methods as well as proper ID of patients and labeling

of tubes.

2001-2002- Pharmacy Technician Externship with Kaiser Permanente -While

awaiting my State Pharmacy Tech. Certification License (License received

Jan. 31, 2003), I worked as an Intern, where I was trained in prescription

filling, liquid compounding, prescription labeling, baker machine, and

stocking.
