Quality Control Monitoring Manager (1/2004-1/2014)
Progressed to leadership role to drive quality assurance and quality control as laboratory and
monitoring Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (TOCDF) in
Tooele, UT involving EPA methodologies and review of related laboratory and monitoring data and
processes. Provided clear feedback about the quality of the product produced within the laboratory
and monitoring group for managers and clients. Accountable for mentoring and guiding a 15-member
team of QC inspectors tasked with all laboratory and monitoring operations aligned with federal
requirements under the State of Utah. Serve as key member of the Voluntary Protection Program
(VPP) ensuring site-wide safety. Lead all aspects of Data Ethics and Integrity Committee, including
all laboratory ethics training. Utilize Lean Six Sigma and 5S tools to coordinate process improvement

Served in high-profile role tasked with enforcing quality oversight for the air and residue sampling
operations at TOCDF demilitarization project. Verified operational procedures through use of ACAMS
(Automatic Continuous Air Monitoring System), DAAMS (Depot Area Air Monitoring System), CEMS
(Continuous Emissions Monitoring System), and XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) methods. Ensured sub-
contracted laboratories performed in accordance with the NELAC (National Environmental
Laboratory Accreditation Conference) Standard.
Received Outstanding Performance Award as Project Leader for GB Analysis via X-Ray

Fluorescence (XRF) as a result of writing and implementing analysis procedures, including
authoring procedures, training new technicians, and deploying functionality into operation.
