Belton High School August 2004-May 2008

In high school I was section leader in our top 2 auditioned choirs and choir

president my senior year. I was selected for all district choir and was an all

state choir alternate in the Kansas City District. I was also on the high

school debate team and was president of our debate program for my junior and

senior year. I was ranked in the top 150 students in debate in the entire

country for my junior and senior year ending with a rank of 63rd my senior year

out of over 100,000 students in the program nation wide. I qualified to the

national debate tournament 2 years in a row in student congress and in Domestic

Extemporaneous Speaking and was 1st alternate for Team debate.

Kansas City Kansas Community College January 2009-Present

I am a political science major with a philosophy minor and attending school on

a full ride scholarship for debate. Our debate team has won the community

college debate championship for 7 years in a row now. I added to that success

by taking 1st place at community college nationals in 2 events, (Team debate

and CEDA LD debate). I have won many tournaments in college and been ranked top

speaker or in the top 10 speakers out of hundreds of competitors at every

tournament this last season.

Skills

I am very persuasive and have excellent people/customer service skills. I am

reliable hard working goal oriented person who works well with others on team

projects; I can also work by myself very efficiently. What I lack in hands on

job experience I make up for in intelligence and in skill. I am very goal

oriented and always strive for the best no matter what I do. I would love to
