As the first line supervisor for the electrical maintenance group, coordinated and
supervised the maintenance, t roubleshooting, and repair of AC and DC motors, motor
control equipment, electrical switchgear, and breakers for 400 Hertz and 60 Hertz
applications, allowing the ship to meet all operational requirements.
Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston (February 2009 to June 2012)
As an instructor, t rained junior officers and enlisted personnel in plant supervision,
operations, and maintenance in both classroom and shipboard environments.
USS Maryland (December 2003 to January 2009)
As the ship’s machinery noise technician, responsible for the vibration analysis of all
rotating machinery. Responsible for lubrication of bearings, and replacement of bearings,
reducing the noise radiated from rotating machinery. Other duties included being the first
l ine supervisor for the electrical maintenance group.
