OBJECTIVE: To find full, part time work either in a the field of nursing or retail.

WORK HISTORY:

June and July 2014: Cindy and Chuck Emond

I worked full time for the Emonds taking care of Cindy while

emergency placement could be found. My job was simply to ensure her saftey and help

with the activities of daily living.

July 2013 to April 2014 : NOrthern store, Government N.W.T Justice, NDL construction

Durning this time I was living in the North West Territories.

While there I held numerous jobs simultaneously. I worked at the Northern Store as a

cashier and stock person. I also worked for the sheriffs department for the government of

the North West Territories as a bailiff. As a bailiff it was my job to serve jury summons,

court documents regarding criminal and civil matters with in the remote communities. I

also worked as a jury guard for trials held in our community. This entailed taking the jury in

and out of court, ensuring that there was no outside communication with the jury

members, providing anything they needed to be comfortable during long deliberations.

Lastly I worked for NDL construction as a cook and cleaner at the residence that the

construction crew stayed in. This of course incuded meal prep for a large number of

people, cleaning, laundry and sometimes general labor on teh job site itself. There is no

real time line for these jobs as they were all pretty much at the same time.

I held a position as a in field personal supoort worker for five years with Bayshore Home

Health in Smiths Falls. I then transferred to the Ottawa Private office. During my time with

Bayshore I had extensive experience in many aspects of Health care. I have experience

with all types of lifts, colostomies, illeostomies, catheters, wound care, palliative care,

cognitive impairments, respite, meal prep, light house keeping, skin care, adl's, breathing

tubes, tube feeding. I learned a lot working for this company and took advantage of all

opportuinities to learn new skills.

OTHER EXPERIENCE : My parents owned two gas stations which i worked at almost full

time. I also worked as a manager at great Canadian Bagel, Worked up north at the

Northen store doing cash and grocery .

EDUCATION : Graduated top of my class as a personal support worker from Career

Canada College in March of 1998.

About me: I am responsible and reliable. My children are grown and there fore i have time

to dedicate to work with out distractions or obligations. I am honest caring and

compassionate and excel at customer service and caring for others.
