Android App: Bitcoin Kaleidoscope Umass 2014
* This App provides all kinds of functions for Bitcoin, such as the real-time Bitcoin statistics, currency
convert and calculate, Bitcoin price alert, Bitcoin news and Bitcoin knowledge tips. Plus with fancy and
practical user interface.
* XML and JSON object and multiple threads approach are used to update data for this application,also
including ViewPager and TabHost widgets.
* A website, connected with a database, is developed to demonstrate the principle of transaction of
bitcoin. HTML, CSS 3, mysql and JSP are used to build the website and database.
Develop an Android Application with Eclipse naming “Birthday Reminder” Umass 2013
* Design a website to introduce and for downloading the “Birthday Reminder” App.
* Use Google Calendar to build the App, besides, the app also involves client and server communication
function.
Research on Database Security for medical information Umass 2013
* Design a website and a database for collecting and storing medical information.
* Apply AES encryption/decryption and SSL security method to protect the medical information as well
as the communication channel between the website and database.
Developed an Android Application with Eclipse on Augmented Reality Technology Umass 2012
* Designed the algorithm of the application, finished the GPS location data transferring module and
compass module of the program.
* Developed an application with Eclipse which could show information added in the camera view on the
android device.
