Role: QA Tester (Manual & Automation)

FIXTrader is NYSE Technologies' trader workstation product for equity order management

enables sales and block traders to electronically manage and route orders to exchange floor

booths, DOT, independent brokers, and ECNs/ATSs. The FIXTrader system facilitates the

electronic management and routing of equity orders between the Buy-side, Sales and Block

desks, and Exchange Floors. FIX Trader manages ticket orders, executions, and allocation

information. Information generated by FIXTrader is sent electronically to other parties utilizing

the FIX protocol. FIXTrader manages and displays all information within blotters. The main

screen of the FIXTrader interface is called the Blotter Screen. This screen contains both a Ticket

Blotter and a Working Blotter

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Translate requirements, designs and functional specs into effective test plans and test cases.

• Verifying the correctness of the software calculations and creating test data files (valid and

invalid) to thoroughly test program logic and system flow.

• Defect reporting and re - testing the software as the defects are fixed.
