• Managed all phases of emerging wireless technology projects within the corporate development group and
conducted the deployment of multiple broadcast facilities for our mobile video service.
• Performed initial site visit, review and sign off of the architectural and engineering drawings, generation of the
statement of work for all sub-contractors, and filing of FCC broadcast permits.
• Developed the business relationship with multiple vendors dealing with lease negotiations, site applications,
equipment selection, hand set providers, price negotiations, permits, shipping, logistics planning, shelter
providers, civil work crews and performed problem resolution between all parties.
• Assisted with the creation and implementation of the test plan for local field trials utilizing WiMAX and LTE / 4G
technologies which included network design, RF coverage planning and analysis, capacity planning, EMI analysis
and drive testing data (Eb/NO and SNR) collection and analysis.
ECHOSTAR SATELLITE LLC Atlanta, Georgia Program Manager 2001 - 2003
• Managed the entire hardware and software engineering groups using SDLC methods for several newly designed
set-top-boxes. This included such responsibilities as leading the project kick-off and weekly meetings, generating
the project schedule, prototype development and production planning.
• Developed the business relationship with our partners including AT&T and Wild Blue which allowed us to provide
a bundled service offering to our existing and new DBS customers to include high speed internet via DSL or
satellite.
ALPHA TECHNOLOGIES Suwanee, Georgia Production Supervisor 1999 - 2000
• Supervised a team of assemblers and test technicians in a high production environment producing uninterruptable
power supply products for the telephone, wireless and broadband industries.
• Participated in developing assembly and test procedures to support bringing new products to the market including
the Radium line, which provided outside plant power for fiber fed communications.

• Performed installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of video and satellite broadcast equipment
including traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWT’s), klystron tube amplifiers, up/down converters,
video exciters, video distribution amplifiers, LNA protection switches and video standard converters.
• Operated the Network Operations Center where I configured antennas and equipment to perform
uplinks and downlinks for the CNN News Desk. Also, performed video and audio quality of service
monitoring for all Turner networks including fiber optic, T1 and satellite links.
• Operated test equipment to troubleshoot and test video broadcast equipment such as spectrum
analyzer, signal generator, power meter, vectorscope, oscilloscope and volt-ohm meter.

• Team leader in the design, installation, testing and on-site support of Ku-band satellite earth stations
for both domestic and international customers.
• Performed assembly, testing and troubleshooting to component level of surface mount technology Ka-
band transmitters, remote terminal processor and other associated baseband equipment.
• Monitored the quality of service for our shared VSAT network transporting data (SDLC and X.25),
video and VoIP (voice over IP) from inside the Network Operations Center and provided Tier II
technical support to resolve customer issues.
