OBJECTIVE

SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Actively involved in the New Refinery Multibillion project in Abu Dhabi. Focal point for
the HSE from FEED to commissioning phase of the project.
• Involved in the major health and safety projects currently under way in the company
which includes Sulphur expansion projects, Chlorine plant demolition (highly
environmental and safety sensitive )
• Involved in the preparation of Health Management system for the company
• Develop and implement Occupational Health Management system (OHMS).
• Development and Implementation of HSE Objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
on detailed operational and Corporate level
• Develop and implement Occupational health and Safety and Environment codes of
practice according to U.A.E. laws and Best industry practices.
• Planning, arrangement and conduct of Scenario-based Emergency Exercises,
incorporation of lessons learned in Emergency Response Plans and related facilities
• Accident/ Incident Investigation and Data Analysis as per the Loss causation Model
• Act as Occupational Health and Safety Team leader for the chlorine Demolition and
Decontamination project in U.A.E, which is one of its kinds; project that inherent the
hazard of Mercury and chlorine exposure.

• Establishing guidelines for identification of Occupational Health Hazards (including
physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychological), health risk assessment
and establishing control measures in order to eliminate or minimize the associated risk.
• Developed Occupational health and safety performance and monitoring system for the
company as per the International guidelines.
• Providing professional advice to manage the health, safety and environment activities.
• Coordinating to ensure the implementation of HRA recommendation for all high health
risk activities.
• Developed and implemented the Health Surveillance and Monitoring System to ensure
that associated health risks are reduced to a level that is as low as reasonably
practicable (ALARP).
• Organized Health and Fitness Promotion Programs for employees and contractors to
increase health awareness and to improve their fitness and performance at work. The
programs include Health and Fitness campaign, Proper Lifting of Heavy equipment and
Diet awareness program.
