I oversaw the day-to-day activities of the construction of two buildings,
which had 722 rentable units. Each building had its own swimming pool in
the center. The buildings were constructed with structural columns, beams
and rebar reinforced filled cell CMU. Elevators were installed in both four-
story buildings. There was a clubhouse built for onsite management. A
security building was built between the two tenant buildings. Electrically
Controlled Maglock access systems were installed. I had Jobsite safety
meetings with the Forman of all the various trades. I had meetings and
inspections with County, City, Health, and Fire departments. I held weekly
schedule meetings with all of the Subcontractors to insure an on time
project. I constantly walked the project to insure that the trades work in
compliance to OSHA guidelines and that they adhered to the plans and specs.

I oversaw the daily operations from construction to safety, contracts and
documents. I insured the plans and specs were implemented, wrote field
change orders, wrote purchase order request. Quality control was a crucial
part of a multi-million dollar project. The Project was a Mix a sorts. In
one hand I had High End Retail Stores at the ground level of four buildings
built with structural concrete columns and beams, exterior tilt wall panels
and rebar reinforced concrete filled cell CMU walls. Metal stud framing was
used for the interior walls. The upper levels were apartments and condos
built with wood stick built framing with lightweight concrete floors.
Elevators and trash systems where installed. The project involved the
integration of fiber optics; computer controlled LED lighting, and exterior
sound systems. The exterior of the buildings were constructed out of EIFS
and masonry brick for the facade. The roof system that was used was a
sealed rubber membrane. Every building was cooled by an onsite Chilled
water system for both residential and commercial properties. Security and
controlled access systems were integrated. There was the construction of
Parking Garages. The construction of an elevated second floor pool. I had
meetings and inspections with County, City, Health, and Fire departments.
I held weekly meetings with the Subcontractors to discuss the schedule,
safety, critical paths, benchmarks, deficiencies, and any problems that
arose. I trained interns under me on the standard construction practices. I
resolved any concerns or issues that any of the Commercial or Residential
tenants had. I kept pushing the project to insure that it would be a
success. The Local head city inspector didn't want me to leave the area
because he trusted my work. He asked me to put him on my reference list.
The Balance of funding on the project has halted and I in tern I got laid

stud framing wrapped in a level five and knockdown drywall finish. I had to
inspect and insure that the uses of United States made parts were used.
Meetings with the Quality control and on Base officials were held weekly.

codes and guidelines for commercial properties. I built one 12000 Square
foot store inside of an existing building after an interior demolition of
the old retail store. The other stores that I built were ground up new

elsewhere.
