Project Description

XHQ is a real time, web based Operations Intelligence platform that aggregates Production data from

multiple data sources like data historians, relational DBs etc. and present in a web browser to a wide

community of users.

This application is used to provide support in making real time operating decisions for user communities

in refineries, chemical plants and other process manufacturing facilities . This caters to facility users

(managers, maintenance and operating personnel), corporate users etc.

XHQ gives a graphical and tabular representation of Production Management and Operational date for

end users.

Role(s) : Onsite coordinator, Support Lead, Testing Lead.

Quality And Tracking System

Project Description

Schlumberger data acquisition request starts from the client request being defined as a job,

identification of engineers and required tools. The job then gets executed by the engineers using the

tools and results delivered to the client. QTrac is the repository of the tool information and their

maintenance history. It is used to view the asset service history and keep track of the jobs performed

using that tool.

QTrac being used in the early stages of the job design is not only to plan the tools but the information

about the tool and the job requirement will prevent a tool that is due for maintenance from being

allocated to the job and having the tool fail during the job. Maximizing the operational tool time is very

important and has a cost impact to the business. This project followed Agile model of development with

Daily scrum meetings, agile testing etc.

systems. An additional goal is to Tune the fluid component properties and render an optimized output.

Other areas such as security, scalability, and reporting functionality are also being addressed in the
