Human Resources and Administration Manager.
Responsible for management of personnel, human resources development,
administration of services, procurement, security, diplomatic and consular
services, logistics transport and information technology. For the few
months that I was there I was able to successfully formulate a new salary
structure and draft staff regulations. I was reporting directly to the
Charge D'Affairs of the Embassy.
3.4. Tanzania Revenue Authority (1997-2000)

Principal Human Resources Officer.
At the Tanzania Revenue Authority I was heading the Human Resources
Development section and reporting directly to the Deputy Commissioner for
Human Resources. My duties here were to co-coordinate training for the
whole authority with over 3,000 employees, preparing the training programme
and budget, liaison with international agencies to source for training
opportunities and funds and recommending employees to undertake training.

As the head of personnel and administration my role was to manage and co-
ordinate all personnel functions of the company including training, salary
administration, administration of services, transport management, security
and estate management. I was reporting to the Chief Executive of the
company.

Between 1983-1984 I attended a compulsory one-year of national service at
the Ruvu National Service Camp.
