Apache/Longbow Structural Engineer
Responsible for developing, analyzing and marketing new designs and
redesigns for the Apache attack helicopter. Team lead for the stress
analysis effort on the preliminary design phase through first flight of the
Longbow Apache helicopter. Principal stress engineer for ordnance
products.
. Developed and marketed a new main rotor retention design that
increases the reliability of the system by 40 times over the
current design. This design saved Boeing customers millions of
dollars in operating costs while earning the company a substantial
profit. Was awarded Boeing's highest achievement award
(President's Medallion) for this effort.
. Performed a detailed analysis and economic trade study which led to
the production of the internal fan for the first conventional
helicopter without a tail rotor

. Authored and presented technical papers for the American Helicopter
Society World Forum and MSC World Users Conference. My work
presented at the MSC Conference was chosen to be used in print ads
to market products for HP (Hewlett Packard) work stations and MSC
