Project- consisting of field inspection of previously set communication owned poles and document all utility
facilities to be transferred to the replaced poles
• Design ten feeders with a
total design cost of over $7 million using Pole Foreman and GIS Design Manager installing 731 poles
(concrete and wood) spanning a total distance of 33 miles of overhead and installing over 33,000 FT of
underground cable
• Engineering calculations
including pole load, guying, transformer sizing, load studies, and voltage studies for electrical standards
• Create pole bores using
FPL’s Distribution System Standards and Pole Boring Program
• Prepare cost estimates,
specifications, and evaluations
• Design and prepare
construction drawings and permit documents incorporating all scope of work related to overhead and
underground facilities associated with electric distribution systems using standards, specifications, and
procedures
Software Skills:
Proficient use and knowledge of computers and software applications including GIS Design Manager,
WMS, Pole Foreman, and Microsoft Office products
