Responsibilities:

To ensure quality of the project.

To inspect bevel angle, root gap in fit up stage and prepare fit-up report.

To check the preheat, post heat, and inter-pass temperature during welding as per the

relevant WPS.

Visually checked all welding’s and prepare the reports.

To conduct positive material inspections (PMI) test.

Responsible of fabrication of piping works per codes and specification.

Creating software data base reports for welding, NDT, material

t raceability record (line w ise, pa rt w ise, joint wise for approx. –

2500 inch dia )as per daily work completion.

Witnessing in Non-destructive testing like U T, M P I, D PT & RT and

V isual Inspection.

To Prepare W PS (Welding Procedure Specification) and P QR (Procedure

Qualification Record) and various sub contractors work procedures as

per international and company standards and specification.

To study isometric drawings and to check the lines are correctly installed

or not.

To verify the material test certificates for welding consumables & raw

materials.

To execute periodical calibration for welding equipment’s.

Carried out ult rasonic thickness measurement of pipelines,corrosion check

on pressure vessels,tanks,exchangers,column etc.

Performed ultrasonic testing on piping and raw materials of tubular

towers.

Prepared reports UT,ET,Radiography.

Carried out profile radiographic test on small bore fi t ting UN Refinery in

service piping.

Radiographic testing the pipelines,Spiral pipes,water wall shutdown,tube

coils,boiler tubes,structural and f low line during construction

maintains.

Eddy current testing the corrosion,crack testing and hardness checking.

Visual inspection (RT,MT,ET,UT,PT) methods on welded parts,boiler

d rums as per customer.
