I have to set up and run blood drives per F.D.A guide lines.I manage anywhere from 4-20 staff members at a time.I

perform health screenings to make sure a donor is eligible to donate,I also perform a health check which consist of

taking blood pressure,temperature,weight and perform a finger stick to check hemoglobin.

I also perform collections of a unit by performing vienipuncture using a 16 gauge needle and sometimes I might

have to use a butterfly for hand sticks.I also make adjustments for my staff so they can collect a unit of blood.

I make sure all customer service issues handled compationately and repramand staff if they are at fault.

I also make sure paperwork is error free before processing units to the laboratory for testing and distribution to

hospitals.
