Thesis Security in 802.11 Wireless Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET)

Thesis objective is to find a way to prevent a node in an

ad hoc network from broadcasting

false routing information and prevent it from replying to

Work Experience

1. Aruba Networks Inc., Bangalore, India (NASDAQ : ARUN) - (August 2010 -

Ongoing)

Aruba Networks Inc. is a networking vendor selling enterprise wireless

LAN and edge access networking equipments. The company has over 1,500

employees and is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. Aruba's core

products are access points (APs), mobility controllers, and network

management software through their Airwave Management Platform product.

As a Staff Engineer my responsibilities included -

- Participating in feature development discussion and providing feedback

for current and future product line features for Aruba Mobility Access

Switches.

- Writing and executing test plans for various features for Aruba

Mobility Access Switches

- Automating / Scripting Scenarios using TCL scripting language

- Getting involved in customer debugging sessions.

- Helping Regression team to updates, scripts procs. for sanity and

regression run.

- Reporting Bugs / Defects and verifying them once it is resolved /

VitalQIP - DNS, DHCP applications and Sybase.
