Largest private sector shipbuilding yard in India certified by DNV with ISO 9001-2008 delivering a

variety of specialized vessels including offshore drilling rigs.

Planned, organized, executed and oversaw the successful erection of bulk carrier hull structures

within the allotted time frames, while maintaining the quality and safety standards.

Successfully executed the erection of 32K, 54K and 10K DWT bulk carrier hulls (approx. 2500

tons) within allotted time frames using single or multiple crawler cranes.

Conducted air pressure tests, ultrasound tests and visual welding inspections for leak proof

structures and sound welds.

Implemented the erection of 5 hatch coamings on the 54K bulk carrier within 0.5 mm. (Industry

accepted standard: 4mm.).

Significantly improved the weld quality and procedure on the 10K bulk carrier, thereby reducing

costs by approx. 20% in welding repairs, man hours and material consumption. This also

resulted in the same procedure being adopted for the future vessels.

Participated in the undocking team in the successful undocking of two 32K bulk carriers.

Resolved various hull erection related problems, co-coordinating with the fabrication, design,

piping and outfitting departments.
