High Resolution Digital Weight Meter
The aim of this work is to design a weight meter which measures weight
electronically with high resolution. Here load cell with specification 4
mv/kg is used, an instrumentation amplifier with high gain, an analog to
digital converter with dual-slope technique to get more precise value and a
4-1/2 digit seven segment display to display the weight digitally with high
resolution. The external adjustment of variable resistance allow to
increase or decrease the gain of the amplifier which matches with the load
applied. The output vs input graph shows the linearity of the load cell.
