• Established project control processes and excel templates to manage budgets, forecasts, cash flows, Key
Performance Indicators (Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index, etc.), and financial

• Created a proforma budget template, a corresponding budget for each department, managerial
accounting for the board of directors, negotiated complex contracts internationally to achieve desired
outcomes, and ensured regulatory compliance in all contracts. I assisted in the development of a
corporate strategy and developed spread sheets for each department to assist with the accurate
conformity to strategy and financial limits. I initiated public relation programs and exhibited excellent

represented the council in China, Indonesia, within the U.S. and met with many international
delegations.

• Managed every aspect of developing a 100 million gallon per year ethanol plant which was built in
Hankinson, ND. I wrote the business plan which was used as the marketing tool for the project and as
the SEC filing foundation which gave me solid experience working with the SEC and designing
acceptable submissions. I established the accounting framework, submitted financial reports to the
board of directors, supervised professional service contracts to ensure timely completion of
commissioned work, and led cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective results.

• Performed the marketing for a multi-million dollar grain farm for 15 years using the derivatives market,
basis contracts, cash markets and the futures market. I determined cash flow requirements yearly to
cover capital expenditures, input costs and labor along with the timing of these expenses to minimize tax
consequences. I also executed daily A/R, A/P, created invoices, tracked inventory, created financial
statements used for tax and credit purposes and maintained creditor relationships.

• Designed excel sheets to match electric rates with manufacturing to find our target markets. The
company sales team was divided based upon my findings. I performed financial analysis of numerous
companies to identify possible channel partners and worked with the CFO on several large projects.
• I have been trained extensively to employ formulas to determine the most effective leverage rate, the
effects of LIBOR on capital investment timing, the economic indicators affecting industry, the
importance of tracking legislative issues, how to analyze SEC 10-k filings, developing and ensuring
internal controls for auditing compliance, and managing an effective team. My MBA program focused
on effective creation and implementation of corporate strategy and team building.
