I currently work as a Senior Performance Engineer for Andersen Windows leading continuous improvement projects using Lean concepts. I also work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing and Operations leading projects as it relates to product, machine and process capabilities studies. I also perform Root Cause analysis as it relates to product and processes throughout the entire manufacturing and distribution value stream.
As an Assembly Specialist at Schneider Electric working on Industrialization of new and existing products, my responsibilities included working with Design, Product Engineers, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to optimize product and part design to cost and for assembly; performing detailed product cost analysis, conducting Capacity and Capability studies of new and existing processes to insure product manufacturability; estimating and managing Opex/Capex requirements throughout the project duration; acquisition, qualification, and deployment of new equipment; training of manufacturing staff and associates. I also developed the optimization of manufacturing processes using Line Architecture Design Methodologies which included line layout, material and process flow, work methods development, MTM analysis to determine labor standards. I also assisted in the successful completion of continuous improvement projects through Kaizen events.
