Description:
In 2011 RBS began a programme of work to implement a cross functional
Strategic Data Warehouse in the UK, using Informatica as the ETL tool,
Teradata as the underlying technology platform for the database, SAS as the
analytics toolset and an industry standard data model tailored for use in
RBS to structure the data (RBS-LDM).As part of the EDW initiative, the RBS
are looking to extend the initial work completed within the Foundation
Layer of the Strategic Data Warehouse and enhance the data model and data
utilizing a delivery partner to assist in accelerating delivery.The intent
of the programme is to provide an EDW using Foundation Layer which has data
elements from Core and Non Core systems,one of the projects in scope for
this work is Anti-Money Laundering. Anti-Money Laundering(AML) refers to a
number of internal processes and procedures to meet certain regulatory
obligations.AML includes transaction monitoring(TM),Transaction
screening(TS),Customer screening(CS) and Customer due diligence(CDD).The
AML activities are carried out by a number of systems and operational means
globally.Key performance indicators(KPIs) are required in order to manage
the AML activities and provide evidence internally and to regualtors that
the AML policies are providing an effective control environment.
Responsibilities:
Developed ETL mappings to extract and transform data from various sources
to meet requirements. Using Informatica PowerCenter created mappings and
mapplets to transform the data according to the business rules.
Understanding the Business requirements based on Functional specification
to design the ETL methodology in technical specifications.
Used Aggregator, Sequence Generator, Update Strategy, Joiner, Normalizer,
Sorter and Union to develop mappings in the Informatica Designer.

Description:
KFW is one of the Germany based reputed investment banks and the
main business is to offer loans to small/Medium/large scale companies.KFW
wants to analyze their business processes and performance via SAP Bank
Analyzer in the beginning. KFW initiated a program SAP Fin to get the data
to various data receiving systems like SAP Bank Analyzer/SAP BW and other
Data marts. Thus the main objective of this program is to extract data from
various source systems like Loans, Partners, Securities/Trade, Cash Flow
etc transform them to the format the end data receivers expect and provide
feed to them.
Responsibilities:
Responsible as team member in delivering solution to our customer in the
Banking sector.
Responsible for effective communication between the project team and the
Client, Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular

Project Details
The Main goal of this project is to have 2 Legal entities
inside GE Oil & Gas and it was located in Florence. Since the DWH queue was
refreshed according to the Italian time zone our users at different time
zones where not really happy to have their data not properly consolidated
or not up to date during their working hours. The DWH decided to create 3
different DWH areas: AMER, APAC and EMEA to schedule different data
refreshing times thank to different job queues.
AMER stands for Americas (north and south)
APAC stands for Australia, Pacific Area and China
EMEA stands for Europe, Middle East and Africa
Responsibilities:
Responsible for understanding Business Analysis and Requirements

Preparation of mapping documents based on client requirement
