Description: ePub is designed for reflowable content, meaning that the

text display can be optimized for the particular display device (iPad) used

by the reader of the ePub-formatted book. An ePub-file is essentially an

archive of HTML files. The .ePub format is a standard for e-Books created

by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF).

Roles and Responsibilities:

. Acquire the Input files from Vendor and Assigning to Team.

. Maintaining the schedule as per Date given by Vendor.

. Giving the most priority to the best Quality & max Quantity for the

titles.

. Using Macros, tools & software's for reducing time to complete the

Process.

. Checkout the Completed title as per given instructions.

. Finally checking the Quality (QA) of completed title, before

delivering to Vendor.

. Sharing the knowledge between team members to reduce time and complete

the file with max quality.

Process:

1. Extracting the text from PDF by using text extraction software's.

2. Apply html tags for text to html conversion

3. Do styling for converted html files as per input source.

4. Conversion of html to ePub

5. Comparison of ePub with Source file

6. Conversion of ePub to Mobi(as per clients requirement)

7. Final QA

ii. For editing the text : Edit plus v2.0 & v3.0, Epsilon10.0 & 12.0

iii. For Comparison: ABC amber, Calibre

iv. For checking the final output: Adobe digital edition, Mobi reader

v. Miscellaneous: Acrobat professional edition 7.0 & 9, Adobe
