Data foundations

Objective of project is to identify the golden source and to streamline the data f low process and to ensure

correct data f low from source to reports. This is an end-to-end data streamlining project which involves

requirements elaboration, design, build, testing, implementation and support. The system was developed

and tested across multiple environments and was implemented through a phased release plan.

N ational Data M ig ration

The project aims at the Data migration of Huge volumes of Device information. The Project was an

i mportant milestone and it had unprecedented impact on the daily production of the devices. The

Application was responsible for overall productivity of Semiconductor devices. The Data had to be

m igrated from DB2 Database to Oracle 11g and t ransformed to appropriate convention and then loaded

i nto the system. There were several bottlenecks in this time critical project. All these were completed with

m inimal issues and within the planned t imelines.

My responsibilities in this project were as follows,

• Leading a 4 member team

• Responsible for requirements gathering from business users, convert them into technical

requirements, plan for project execution and coordinate with onsite team

• Proposed and implemented Audit jobs that would monitor the Device information at regular intervals

and provide any inappropriate data that is unusable in target application

• Writ ten PL \SQL stored procs, functions and t riggers to implement the integrity of the newly

m igrated data.

• Involved in monitoring the SQL performance by this increase of data due to migration in the

respective tables and modified the necessary SQL queries

• Coordinate with the testing team for defect t r iaging, defect status t racking and status reporting

• Design/develop/monitor tables, views, materialized views, stored procedures, packages an d functions

• Developed PL/SQL packages and procedures to perform data loading, error handling and system

statistics

• Analysis of objects for data streamlining and clean up for data consistency in reports

A pple Rebate Tool is a web application used by customers to claim rebates after purchase of eligible

apple products. Customers to fill out product and personal details to check eligibility of rebate using

online rebate application tool which can be redeemed for iTune apps. Processing of Order-Online-Return-

to-Store category of rebate claims was also implemented.

department was migrated from Jade platform to new cocoa platform with user friendly and convienent

• Responsible for generic super class development for Admin functionality which helped saving effort for

i n EDI, Rosettanet format. In B2B implementation project, their SAP data required EDI software to

convert IDOC to EDI for B2B solutions. Other projects such as EDI On-Boarding, where Molex wanted to

On-Board new t rading partners to support B2B Business and RNIF implementation in which Molex

wanted to Implement Rosettanet t ransactions with their customer Sony and EDI Support to monitor EDI

t ransactions for failures were also done

• Responsible for requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation

• Responsible for implementing EDI software Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) 4.x for the B2B solution

• Developed t ransactions using GIS Business Process and Map Editor and On-Boarded new t rading

partners (Envelopes)
