transmission and distribution. The project involved integration of systems like Automatic meter reading (AMR),

Meter data management (MDM), Geographic Information system (GIS), Weigh bridge, Payment Gateway etc.

Responsibilities:

• Acted as an intermediate between the business, IT and partners for requirement gathering for

understanding of the as-Is process.

industrial, commercial and residential sectors. The project included integration of SAP SD and legacy .Net

application using SAP PI with web service and RFC for order enquiry creation, order entry creation and release

order creation.

Responsibilities:

• Blueprinting the integration of .Net and SAP to cater to specific sales order management processes

interfaces within the SLA.

Responsibilities:

• Queue monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution at Production server

Overview

SBG, Oman's largest business house has its activities spread from automobiles to construction and

petrochemicals. To underpin the core business processes with industry-specific functionality and integrate

disparate legacy systems, they replaced its Automotive Service Division platform from AS400 to SAP. New

Interfaces were designed in SAP for all the existing interfaces integrating Service System on AS400 with other

Systems of various departments (Vehicle Sales, Spare Parts, HR and Accounts) using DB2 as backend.

Responsibilities

• Involved in preparing Design Specifications and Mapping requirements

• Developed around 30 PI Interfaces in area of Vehicle Sales, Spare Parts, Accounts and HR.

• Implemented Proof of Concepts that exercises the feasibility of Interface Strategy

• PI development including creation of objects in the Integration Repository (IR) and Complex Mappings.

EXODUS – BC2XI Migration Tool

This project involved development of proprietary tool to migrate the BC interface with PI. The tool enables

user to migrate the developments in Business Connectors (BC) to SAP PI by reducing the human intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the File Structure on BC Server and XI Server

• Implemented DOM parser for reading a XML file in Java

• Explored Flow service and Mappings in SAP BC

• Understanding the As-Is scenario with SAP BC
