• Developed a device to mechanically re-sharpen hypodermic needles, to be used in
conjunction with current sterilization techniques to allow for re-use of needles in low-
resource environments

Parkinsonian Back Brace F 2013 – S 2014
• Worked with local Parkinson’s support groups to develop a back brace for patients
with Parkinson’s and other neuromuscular diseases. Undergoing patent application.
