paced working environment. Had to build and enhance profits by building a workable
relationship with other local businesses as well as the community. Also maintained and
controlled inventories making sure that the quality of the product and service was at par
with the company’s operating standards.

Responsibilities: I was responsible for transporting different types of goods from
distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. Also I was required to perform
inspections before and after each trip, and unload cased products from the trailer to
customer facilities, had to follow appropriate safety procedures to transport dangerous
cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours. Deliver freight,
manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers, assist workers in loading and
unloading trucks, checked mechanical aspects of the vehicle, and drove different types of
trucks.

The reason I left this position: I was laid off after a tornado came through town at end of

• Plumber/ Crew Leader
Ameritech Plumbing Port Saint Lucie, FL
January 2001 to August 2005
All phases of new construction plumbing, residential and commercial. I was responsible for
leading a crew of 3 to 6 plumbers/helpers to construct plumbing for new homes and
businesses. I had to read blue prints set up job site, use track hoe to dig ground for water
and sewage line, delegate tasks to crew members, and construct ALL plumbing in
accordance with code and specs. Also would like to add that my crew produced on
average three times more work and job completions than any other crew at the company.
The reason I left this position is because the company took such a hard hit in work loss
due to economy, the company went from roughly 400 employees and 50 crews to only the
3 owners of the business going back out into the field to work.
