Objective

4th year Structural Ironworker Apprentice, looking to obtain a challenging full-time position in a growing

company to further my work experience, and gain knowledge on all aspects of the Ironworker structural

/ ornamental trade.

Key Qualifications

● Registered apprentice with the Ministry of Training and education of Ontario

● Valid fall arrest and aerial work platform training certified

● Valid CSTS-09

● WHIMIS and basic safety certified from the Industrial Education Centre located in

Sarnia,Ontario(Must obtain this training to work in the industrial chemical refineries also known

as chemical valley)

● First aid and CPR/AED

Work Experience

Ironworker Apprentice May 2011- Present

Ironworkers Local 700, Windsor,ON

● Worked on various structural and reinforcing steel projects across southern Ontario. Including

ICI new construction projects, Chemical refinery and industrial refinery Shutdown and

maintenance projects. Also experience in commercial projects (beam and joist connecting,pre-

engineered building systems)Knowledge in welding

● Completed 3 terms of schooling as required by the Ontario ministry of training and education

● Graduated while maintaining a 3.8 GPA

Ontario Secondary School Diploma September 2001-June 2005

Sarnia Collegiate Institute and Technological School
