provides managed network services for medium sized convenience store chains (currently 3,000
locations) through their proprietary Linux router, Amazon Web Services, and web portal (LAMP
stack). Was required to learn quickly and implement solutions across various areas. Linux admin of
data center and Amazon Web Services infrastructure Bash scripting for automation, configuration,
admin, and scaling tasks Apache admin Built the company's Squid & cloud based web proxy product

Fungal Computational Biology & Genomics Lab Oct '06 Dec '06
• Student Researcher – Worked on a Bioinformatics project with a professor for a semester. Wrote a
PHP & perl website where the user uploaded DNS sequences and the website used various databases
(BLAST, COMPSEQ, and WEKA) to predict whether the uploaded sequences were of plant or fungal
origin and emailed the results to the user.

• Intern .NET Software Engineer – our team implemented an ASP.NET portfolio management web
application for a large investment company. Used Agile practices, Test Driven Design, Continuous
Integration, ReSharper, Nhibernate, and Ruby on Rails. They offered me a full time position.
