Technical Designer
Design of oil tool handling equipment using Autodesk Inventor 10, Vault, and product stream. Responsible for the
complete design and detailing of all associated parts, bills of material, welding symbols, and specifications. Projects
have included casing stabbing baskets, finger boards, riser spiders, and gimbal to the automated land rig pipe
handling systems. Traveled offshore to make sure the equipment was installed properly or to solve problems.
Responsibilities included structural assemblies and detail drawings, the delegation of work to drafters and the
checking of all associated drawings, Inspection of tools at installation and detailed inspections for the installation of
tools on working rigs in Gulf of Mexico. BP Safe Gulf certified, offshore water survival, and huet certifications.

The design of new low cost rotary steerable tools using Inventor 10-Vault and product stream to help develop 6 3/4
downhole tool. Responsibilities included complete design of housing and shaft along with conception of assembly,
and detail drawings for the complete tool.
