Following is a list of projects successfully completed (ordered fro m latest to oldest):
● Account Transfer Project: Designed and implemented an Eligibility Plan Transfer service between
Health Exchanges and State Eligibility Systems. The service consists of several SOAP webservices written
in Java/Spring/Hibernate. Implemented DataPower Xi52 SOA Appliance for XML transformation and
webservice interface security. Designed JMS queues to process transfers asynchronously. Eligibility Plans
are stored as XML payloads in an Oracle 12g database.
● Plan Eligibility Determination: Currently designing a Plan Eligibility Determination system that will
determine QHP/Medicaid/Medicare plan eligibility. Will be using IBM ODM 8.6 as the rules
determination engine. Will be using the Mule ESB as the service bus to implement flows to process
inbound Eligibility Plan information. Inbound plan information will be in the form of XML, JSON, pipe
delimited or CSV files. Will be using content -based-routing to feed the appropriate state's rules in the IBM
ODM rules engine, in order to determine eligibility for that state.

● Mass Asset Upload Automation: Currently leading a development initiative for a client to automate the
process of uploading Digital Assets from various 3rd party vendor SFTP sites into the Teradata Marketing
Studio Cloud. Coding and unit testing is reaching completion. The project is about to transition into the
QA testing phase. Active participation in all phases of the SDLC process. The automation is a collection
of Windows services written in C#. The database backend is MS SQL Server.
● Integration WorkBench: Developed a collection of C# Listener/Publisher webservices to provide
integration between client's financial systems and Teradata Marketing Studio. Through this integration
financial systems are updated as new marketing campaigns are launched. Created a workbench of
webservices that other clients can utilize for similar initiatives.
● Campaign Management Customizations: Developed a series of customizations for a client to extend
existing marketing workflow management. Several Java web services were developed to send marketing
emails to a central Digital Messaging Center, resulting from the marketing workflow.

scripts are being written in Perl, Unix Shell and Jython 2.5.2. Perl scripts are being written to automate
deployments relevant to database configuration management. Unix Shell scripts are being written to

automate content application of patch releases and fixpacks. Jython scripts are being written to automate
EAR, WAR and BAR deployments to the application servers.
● System Admin Rewrite: Recently completed rewrite of a web based System Admin solution in Java
using Apache Click, Spring (IoC) and Hibernate. This system is used to maintain configuration and
properties of all systems in the enterprise. The database backend is MySQL and the application server is
Oracle GlassFish Server. Users of this system are authenticated by the Common Services EJBs.
Followed RUP/UML throughout the SDLC process.
● Lab Reports Automation Project: Recently completed a batch application in Java to automate the
processing of incoming HL-7 version 2.3 feeds into the patients database. The database backend is a
MySQL database. The application was written in Java using the Apache HAPI Framework.
Implemented basic multi-threading to process HL-7 files. Followed RUP/UML throughout the SDLC
process.
● TLA Data Migration Project: Worked on an extensive project to migrate data from an acquired legacy
Pensions system to a new MySQL pensions database. Built Perl scripts and Unix Shell scripts for data
migration activity. Performed data modeling using Erwin and MySQL WorkBench. Created ERDs and
transformed logical data model to physical data model. Built, configured and optimized the MySQL
database. I am responsible for the ongoing administration o f the database..
● TLA Pensions Project: On going enhancements to an acquired Pensions System developed in VB.Net,
C# and Entity Data Frameworks as the ORM. This is a client/server system. Currently ongoing efforts
to web-enable it through the implementation of ASP.Net. Database backend is MySQL. Followed
RUP/UML throughout the SDLC process.
● TermLife Project: Implemented a self-service TermLife website in Java using Spring MVC, IoC &
Hibernate.Implemented Dependency Injection. The website was designed to enable customers to
administer their own policies and options. Customers are authenticated by the previously developed
Common Services EJBs via Web Services. Database backend is Oracle. Followed RUP/UML
throughout the SDLC process.
● MyBenefits Project: Developed & implemented a Health benefits self-service website in Java using
STRUTS2 and Hibernate. Visitors on the site are authenticated by the Common Services EJBs developed
previously. Database backend is IBM UDB. Followed RUP/UML throughout the SDLC process.
● Common Services Project: Part of a team to design, develop and implement Java EJBs (Entity &
Session beans) that provide common services such as authentication, authorization, E -Signature, metrics
and subscription. The user profiles are stored in a Netscape Directory Server (NDS) directory repository
accessed via LDAP. The EJB container was IBM WebSphere. Used JNDI extensively. Used JUNIT to
test EJBs. The application properties are stored in an XML file. Light experience with SAX Parser.
Followed RUP/UML throughout the SDLC process.

● MetLife (1999-2000): Part of a team of consultants to Develop & i mplement a Benefits application using
Java servlets, JSPs and EJBs (Model 2 MVC Framework). Used JNDI and JDBC extensively. The

● MetLife (1998 – 1999): Developed and implemented an Institutional Consolidated Planning System using
Java Servlets and JSPs (Model 1 MVC). Built in house Relational Mapping layer that acted as an ORM.
This system was a rewrite of an existing Powerbuilder client/server system.
● The Weather Channel (1997 – 1998): Developed several Advertisement Client Billing applications using
PowerBuilder 6.5 and Oracle. Developed Satellite co-ordinate translation profiles and implemented them
as VB/COM/DCOM. These utilities translated Geo Co-ordinates into actual regional names.
● CyberCapital (1996 – 1997): Successfully developed and implemented Mortgage processing applications
in Java (Client/Server). Used RMI to invoke remote methods on the server. Developed custom
persistence layer along with JDBC calls.
● State Of Georgia (1995 – 1996): Developed an expense reimbursement system in PowerBuilder 5.5 with
SQL Server backend. This system is used by the state legislature to receive compensation and
reimbursement for active duty as legislatures.
● CocaCola (1994 – 1995): Built several external utilities in C which were then called from PowerBuilder
applications as DLLs for a Bottler Marketing system. This system enabled the CocaCola to maintain its
financial and logistical relationship with the bottlers nationwide.
