Project: Functionality development for Japan based Automotive Client.

Work Location: Pune, India

Role: Developer

Technical Role:

4 Development of functionalities to be implemented on Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for various

Wheel Drive of automobiles. Logic development and programming in C++ according to the

requirements of the client.

5 Performed programming in C++ for implementing the Client requirements while strictly adhering

to ISO26262 to achieve the goals.

6 Responsible for Unit Test Plant (UTP) creation and self testing of code developed for ECU on

WinAMS tool to ensure that client requirements are met with. Thorough understanding of client

supplied specifications and code for creation of test cases to meet full coverage of specifications.

7 Received appreciation from the Project Lead for my logic development efforts and my solutions.

Functional Role:

3 Worked closely with Business Analysts for the requirements gathering phase of the project and

was responsible for all the documentation including requirements document, delivery document

and test results document related to the project.

4 Organized and delivered a number of knowledge transfer sessions for the team members post-

development and was appreciated by the Project Lead for the same.

5 Awarded a rating of 4 on a scale of 5 (top 15%) for my contributions to this project.

Project: A project on Siemens Teamcenter for Product Life Cycle Management.

Work Location: Trivandrum, India.

Technical Role:

1 Worked on development of a Teamcenter that will help in process of managing the entire life

cycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and

disposal of the manufactured product in the market.

5 Worked on Integrated Kit development (IDK) involving programming in C to automate the

process of life cycle of the products.

6 Designed and developed various business reports such as Release Management, Bill of

Materials, Data Mangement.

Functional Role:

7 Appointed the Team Lead of a team of 4 fellow associates for the development of the project

based on my performance in the highly competitive Initial Learning Program of TCS Ltd.

8 Led discussions regarding requirements analysis and task delegation.

9 Was appreciated for my role in the meetings and presentations by the clients.

10 Awarded a rating of 5 on a scale of 5 (top 5%) for my contributions to this project.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT:-

NAVIGATION AID FOR BLIND: The purpose of this project is to aid safe mobility for the vision

impaired. Amalgamation of intelligent boundary and object detection algorithm alongwith suitable and

non-hazardous device will be implemented. This project will help visually impaired people in indoor and

outdoor navigation helping them to avoid collision with other moving and static objects.

PROJECTS DEVELOPED:-

1. Signature Verification using MATLAB: This project is aimed at providing authentication using

signatures of the user. Image processing techniques for biometrics are used. Parameters of signature are

extracted from signatures and are then compared with parameters of signature to be checked for, thus

providing authentication. Invalid signatures and forgery are detected on basis of parameters extracted.

2. Video Sudoku solver using MATLAB: This is an image processing project which is used to find

solution to Sudoku puzzle irrespective of any difficulty level. Given a photograph, the project finds the

Sudoku in an image, interprets it, solves it and then projects the solution onto the original photograph.

3. Encryptor – Decryptor using Microcontroller 8051: Encryption is process of transforming

information using an algorithm (cipher) to make it unreadable to anyone except those possessing special

knowledge, usually referred to as a key. The reverse process, i.e., to make the encrypted information

readable again, is referred to as decryption. This was implemented using a microcontroller.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:-

1. Awarded 3rd prize for ‘Signature Verification’ project and Technical paper in State level technical

exhibition held in DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering.

2. Technical Head of student chapter ‘Institute for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers’.

3. Part of team which made a mosaic of Sachin Tendulkar using 6240 cubes, which got registered as

‘National Record’ and entered LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS.

4. Conducted workshops on ‘Introduction to Image Processing’ and ‘Solve a Rubix Cube’ in annual

college festival of DJ Sanghvi in 2010.

5. Presented a technical Paper on ‘Green Buildings’ in a State Level Technical Paper Presentation

Competition at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai.
