glass insulating machine).

Significant Accomplishments

. Direct participation in Six Sigma project exceeding savings goal of

$200K by over $100K.

. Integral in revising overall employee performance review metrics,

creating a fair and objective evaluation of employee performance using

measurable data; involved creating new pay scales and hierarchies.

. Transformed a disorganized, inefficient warehouse into a smooth-

running operation by redesigning the standard operating procedures;

this effort saved the company thousands of dollars by improving

productivity and decreasing loss due to breakage and other internal

errors.

. Converted a newly purchased warehouse (formerly a truck repair

facility) into a fully functional glass washing and storage facility.

This involved complete renovation of the existing warehouse,

redesigning the layout, and the movement and placement of

sophisticated Bystronic glass washing equipment.

. Created a new method of washing glass by substituting steel racks in

place of hazardous, inefficient wood crates. This effort saved the

company thousands of dollars in reduced breakage, increased storage

space, and drastically reduced the risk of employee injury due to

glass breakage. Personally contacted customers purchasing washed

glass, convincing them of efficiency of new method. This procedure is
