Ground penetrating radar is a near surface geophysical tool that

record the back scattered signal of the subsurface reflected due to

contrast in the electrical properties of earth's composition. The two

dimensional output data of ground penetrating radar is a radar image

of the plot of variation in amplitudes of reflected signal at various

locations as a function of radar traveling time. Ground penetrating

radar is one of the non destructive and non invasive techniques

applicable in various fields for the purpose of soil mapping, road

condition survey, fault detection, utility mapping etc...
