Guest Service Representative

The Guest Service Representative interacts closely with the guest and must provide

quality customer service. In doing this, it is important to ensure a positive and

comfortable environment while greeting and assisting the guest in any way from the time

they arrive to the time they depart.

Key Accomplishments:

Process all guest check ins by confirming reservations in computer system, verifying

guest identity, requesting form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key.

Operate the telephone. This consisted of calls from in house guests responding to and

resolving any requests, including wake up calls, and future guests where any questions

are answered and reservations are made.

Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and

check reports for accuracy. As well as review shift logs/daily memo books and document

pertinent information in logbooks.

Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.

Organized and coordinated customer appreciation dinners and welcome bags.

Night Manager. Managed all services the hotel had to offer being the only representative

on the premises.
