Product Tagging and Auditing Application
Developed a VB .Net based windows service solution to encode RFID value on toll tag product and collect
and log data in MS SQL database. Application also involved audit and verification of tagged product using
RFID readers communicating over TCP IP protocol.
Packaging and Shipping Application
Developed a VB and C# .Net desktop solution to provide interface for packaging product. Application
involved scanning product barcode to lookup inventory from a database on MS SQL server, validate scans
and fill trays and boxes of product to prepare for shipping. Application also involved building shipping
manifests and inventory consumption and shipping reports using CRYSTAL report ing.
Inventory Management Desktop Application
Developed a VB and C# .Net desktop software solution for inventory management. Solution provided tools
to add and remove users, manage logins, check-in and check-out product and add and remove inventory
stored in MS SQL database. Created CRYSTAL reports to view status of inventory, status of individual
item, currently checked out product etc.
Asset Management Web Application
Developed ASP (C#) .Net based web application for inventory management. Application provided tools for
looking up inventory from a MS SQL database, building CRYSTAL reports .
Mobile cart search application
Developed a VB and C# .Net desktop software to search RFID tagged product. The software was installed
on a laptop attached on a mobile laptop cart which holds forklift mounted RFID reader and antenna.
Report Viewer Desktop Application
Developed a VB .Net based software solution to build, display and export reports for a major food industry
client. Used CRYSTAL Reports as a reporting tool and .Net based UI to manage reports, provide filter
parameters to build reports and export the reports via email or to save on the disk.
Device management service
Developed VB .Net based windows service to manage to multiple RFID readers using TCP/IP protocols,
setup devices, manage RFID operations and collect data to log it in MS SQL database or send it over http
posts.
Developed VB .Net based windows service to manage to multiple label printers using TCP/IP protocols,
setup devices, design product and shipping labels with 1D and 2D barcodes and manage bulk printing.

Handheld Product Management Mobile Application
Developed a VB .Net Compact Framework based application for Windows Mobile handheld to manage
product in warehouse for a major food industry. Application involved barcode scanning of products to
build pallets for shipping, auditing pallets, checking itemized product in container and logging results in
the Oracle database.
XR450 SOAP implementation
Developed .Net Compact Framework based application to collect RFID data and post it to web server using
SOAP messages.

Systems Engineer
Inventory Auditing Application
Developed a VB .Net windows based application for a document tracking company to accept a reference file
as input, read RFID tags and create a report based on found, missing and unknown tags. Application
involved writing drivers for various RFID readers like Sirit, ThingMagic, Intermec to communicate over
Ethernet and drive commands to setup readers and perform RFID operations. Appl ication also supported
multilingual interface to support use of application globally.
Developed .Net Compact Framework based version of this application for windows CE based handhelds to
provide auditing feature more mobility.
Tag to ship RFID tracking solution
Developed a VB .Net based windows applications for item level RFID tagging, palletizing tagged product
and preparing the pallet for shipping for a food industry. Tagging application involved communication with
Zebra printers via Ethernet to print and encode RFID tags and apply on the product, verify the tagged
product further down the conveyor line using communication with ThingMagic RFID reader and record
events to MS SQL database. Palletizer application built the pallet of tagged product when product was
stacked on shrink wrapper. ThingMagic RFID reader was used to read and collect the tags per pallet and
log data in SQL database. Shipping station application verified the tags on the pallet using ThingMagic
RFID reader and then printed a shipping label on Intermec RFID printer.
Production line control solution
Developed a C# .net based solution involving multiple C# applications to control a production line from
manufacturing to shipping. All the applications communicated to Microsoft SQL server for data storage
and data exchange. Applications controlled the manufacturing, inspecting quality and packaging of the
product. Application also involved communication and control of Intermec RFID reader, Zebra RFID tag
printer and applicator.

Project Engineer
Development of machine vision inspection system (21CFR Part 11 Compliant)
Developed VB.net based GUI to print and inspect laser marking on the bottles for a clean room in
Biopharmaceutical company. Programmed the laser (Videojet) to dynamically accept the print code via
serial port, programmed vision sensor (Cognex Insight 5400) for O ptical Character Verification to verify the
printed code via Ethernet port and programmed servo drives (Parker servo) to adjust the height of laser &
camera based on bottle sizes and control bottle motion via serial port.
Used MS Access to log data and created related documentation as required for 21CFR part 11 compliance.
Design and Installation of Crane Monitoring and Maintenance System (CMMS)
Extensive project management experience with budgeting, hours management, client correspondence,
team leadership and team coordination. Studied and modified PLC code (GE 90-30) in Logic Master and
VersaPro and studied existing schematics to add a CMMS to the system. Experience in configuration of GE
90-30 PLC with Ethernet communication module. Assisted in design of CMMS system in VB.Net with TOP
Server for GE 90-30 PLC. Performed successful installation, commissioning and startup of the project.
