industrial channel and through lighting showrooms. These responsibilities included
market research and analysis, business plan development, product selection,
engineering coordination, sales training and support, and communication with factories
in China to get development and manufacturing issues resolved. Other responsibilities
included the creation of sales catalogs and showroom displays, working with selected
vendors in their development. Also responsible for sales promotions, price and margin
analysis, quality management, UL and CSA certification, as well as all other aspects of
managing this new line of products. I met the sales goal of $5 Million (from zero) for
calendar year 2004.A significant level of expertise was developed in Transformers and
Power Supplies, as well as LED light source alternatives.

Initially developed a territory from unassigned accounts in Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa,
and nurtured them into one of the top revenue territories within the manufacturer's
representative agency. This led to later being assigned some of the most important
customers in the territory, such as those listed below.
IRI Major Account Responsibilities and highlights of accomplishments:
- Motorola, Libertyville IL - 1996 to 2002 - Won the design and sourcing for the primary
Input / Output connector set in Motorola's Platform 2000 family of cellular telephones.
After a 5 year design cycle, FCI shipped in excess of $20 million after the program went
into production in mid 2001.
- Intermatic Inc. Spring Grove, IL 1986 to 2001 - Designed and sold over 500 million
miniature lamps in a 15 year period. Intermatic became the largest non-automotive
customer for GTE (now Osram) Sylvania. Honored with "Salesman of the Year" award
in 1988.
