Degree project Title:

Academic project on “HYBRID WIND AND PV ENERGY SYSTEMS USING A NEW

CONVERTER TOPOLOGY” (Jan 2014-April 2014)

Description:

A new DC-DC Cuk and SEPIC converter topology for hybrid wind/photovoltaic energy system is

proposed and provide a realistic form of power generation. This configuration allows the two sources

to supply the load separately or simultaneously depending on the availability of the energy sources.

Maximum power is tracked from PV and wind energy source s using Maximum Power Point

Tracking (MPPT) algorithm.
