Project Management
Managed multiple job sites simultaneously. Responsibilities included planning,
directing and overseeing the daily performance of assigned work crews at up to four work sites
to ensure on-time, in budget completion of commercial property insulation projects of varying
complexity, duration and value - up to $1.4 million.
On multiple occasions, was assigned as the replacement site Foremen on
contracts that had fallen behind schedule. In all cases, was able to resolve job site issues and
bring the contract to successful completion.
Managed the ordering of project materials; established and executed procedures
for the inventory, control and security of job site materials, tools, and heavy equipment.
Efforts ensured materials and equipment were available when and where needed to
accomplish scheduled job site work.
Scheduled and supported work site inspections to ensure compliance with local
and state inspection and code requirements.
Collaborated with various trades, contractors, and superintendents to facilitate
blueprint interpretation, and coordinate job site schedules and support requirements.
Conducted Job Takeoff Surveys and coordinated with the company estimator to
support the development of manpower, material, and cost estimates for new work.
Consulted with industry representatives to facilitate the identification of new
insulation, fire stop, and barrier materials for job site support.
Personnel Management
Supervised geographically separated work crews of up to 25 men per crew
performing work at multiple job sites concurrently.
Managed time card reporting and submission for assigned personnel to ensure
compliance with Company policy for the timely, accurate reporting of hours worked.
Served as technical representative on company and jobsite safety committees.
Conducted Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training for work crew
personnel and ensured strict compliance with (OSHA) policy requirements at assigned job
sites.
