Troubleshooting and Diagnosis
• Received hands on training with both Cisco routers and switches from a student viewpoint and a network
administrator standpoint. Was responsible for configuration of Cisco equipment for CCNA class.
• Gained proficiency on commercial routers, switches and switching and routing protocols from Cisco Network
Academy classes during time at UAF.
• Assisted in the computer lab at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Community College where I assisted
students and faculty with all issues related to various operating systems, computer hardware, and MS Office.
• Created useful documents on password security, scanner help, etc. to ease workload on main IT staff.
• Worked as a Cable Technician for Comcast Cable. Diagnosed and repaired cable, Internet, network and Voice
