EXPERIENCE:

From 2008: I have been working at my own business of web design

and site development, either for my own clients or working for

other site owners. All my work involves some facet of PHP/MySQL

or LAMPS development. Naturally, there is a lot of HTML/CSS and

JavaScript with some AJAX, DHTML and jQuery thrown in.

From 2008: I have taken a series of contracting jobs through

RentACoder.com and GetAFreelancer.com that have involved a lot

of PHP/MySQL development and maintenance, Currently I am working

on three different jobs. I also have my own web customers. All

my work is some facet of PHP/MySQL development.

1/09 - Present. Database Emailer

(http://www.DatabaseEmailer.com), Little Falls, NJ. Website

developer and PHP/MySQL builder. Converted website over to PHP

and built PHP powered search features so customers can find the

right set of addresses based on various parameters like

geographic, interests, gender, date, etc. I also developed the

online store as well as all the website's management pages. Once

we developed the customer accounts and store, then I developed

the system so the customers can download the records in a file

that they selected.

9/03 - Present. Worden Safety Products (http://www.chocks.com),

Averill Park, NY. Website developer and MySQL builder for Worden

Chocks. Converted website over to PHP and built a MySQL database

driven pages with a standard template. Recently moved site to

new hosts and built a PHP/MySQL powered online store. Also, used

JavaScript for form checking, DHTML, menus. Part time

Periodic Sessions for the Last 6 Years from 2004. Measured

Progress, Troy, NY Reader. Scored standardized exam essay

question for high school and grammar school students. Answers to

questions are scanned into database and I score them according

to the criteria laid out by our company's and the state's.

JavaScript Web Developer.. Using POST, FILE, socket, array and

parsing functions to collect and move data to various databases

and websites online.

10/02 - Present. NYRoutes.com. This is my own web based business

to promote travel, the outdoors and tourism for the Adirondacks.

It compromises three websites, NYRoute28.com, NYRoute30.com, and

AdirondackNorthway.net. These websites are based on major routes

through the Adirondack Parks. Also, build individual websites

for customers, like motels and restaurants. Used PHP for all the

sites and some of them have MySQL databases attached to them.

8/04 - 5/05: NYAPRS, Albany, NY General IT support, Access

Database Developer. Used VBA to build intelligent forms and

reports. Assisted in the implementation of the new LAN system.

Did software installs and maintenance on laptops and desktops,

like memory upgrades.

04/03 - 8/03. The Hood Factory, Cohoes, NY. Built two websites

to market our services. Built MS spreadsheets and databases for

internal office use. Ran home office. Built various templates in

VBA and Excel.

11/01 - 3/02. KnowledgeXtensions, Delmar, NY. Visual Basic for

Applications Programmer, specializing in MS Word applications.

Created VBA for Word forms and macros to assist the web

programmers build their XML templates. Templates used to

generate online course learning and exam pages for

KnowledgeXtensions's clients.

6/99 - 11/01. GlobalSpec Inc. Troy, NY. Internet Content

Technologist and VB Programmer. Prepared Excel spreadsheets for

Web publishing. Interpreting technical specs and drawings from

Manufacturers' catalogues and websites and entering data into

Excel spec templates. Classifying potential customers based on

their websites. Wrote VB executables and VBA macros for Excel

for use in Production.
