Description:-
Ministry of Power, Government of India, has launched the Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms
Programme (R-APDRP) in July 2008, it is proposed to cover urban areas - towns and cities with population of more than
30,000 (10,000 in case of special category states).With focus on establishment Preparation of Base-line data for the
project area covering Consumer Indexing, GIS Mapping, Metering of Distribution system (only in the project area). It
would include Asset mapping of the entire distribution network at and below the 11kV transformers and include the
Distribution Transformers and Feeders, Low Tension lines, poles and other distribution network equipment.
Responsibility:
Preparing TODO.
Manage surveying team(10-40 peoples)
Acquisition of field data with DGPS.
LISS-III Image interpretation and Analysis in ArcGIS 9.3.1.
Analyze the Raw data & Prepare it for Electrical Drawing
Checking the Prepared Data.
Drawing Electrical Network connectivity.
Quality checking of Network.
Client Meting & Client Handling.
Final Data submission to the client.
2).Project Name : Wetland Mapping.
Client : Institute of Wet land Management (Kolkata)
Role : Project Co-Ordinator.
Software used : Arc GIS 9.3.1, ERDAS 9.2, Auto-Cad 2000i, GPS path finder (DGPS data transfer).
Instrument Used : GPS & DGPS (Trimble).
Description:-
Since wetlands are such a dominant part of the coastal landscape and are vital important to many aspects of the area's
ecology, their management and protection is a major priority. The key element of wetlands protection is the development
of a Wetlands Conservation Plan for the coastal area .The Plan has several components. One of them GIS analysis, it
requires digital information in GIS format. This Project combined three primary data layers and extracted the most useful
information from each one. The three primary digital data layers selected for the soil surveys in digital format, Thematic
Mapper (Land use & land cover) satellite imagery and hydrogeomorphology of the wetland area. Soil survey help us to
identify the ph of the soil or different types of soil classification, Land use & land cover was used to identify wetlands
that were unvegetated (e.g., classified as developed, agriculture, or other bare land or grassland) and the
hydrogeomorphology of a wetland is unique in defining the wetland's function.
Responsibility:-

Update Satellite Image & mouza sheets.
Prepare raw data for AutoCAD drawing.
Update Soft copy drawing with AutoCAD 2000i.

Municipal GIS systems is a GIS system which manages the database possesses attributes of each individual property
with information such as land owner, co-owner, mailing & permanent address, house style, built year compliance with
the regulations of the building authorities, public / private utilities mapping to the plot, street characteristics and
amenities. There can also be a provision of linking each individual plots with their digitial photographs, and a link to the
