Undertaken a project and authored a Research Paper titled “Study of Performance analysis of FastICA by

different Quality measures” under Prof. Malaya Kumar Nath Dept. of ECE NIT -Py. The project revolves

around studying the performance of FastICA technique for extracting original signals from a mixture by

subjecting the images extracted by this method to various mathematical quality measures like UQI,

PMSE, NMSE, etc., on matlab platform. The mentioned paper was presented in the National level paper

presentation event held in PKIET, Karaikal.

Role: Summer research intern

Undertaken a project titled “Optimisation of Raster calculations using CUDA” under Mr. P K Gupta,

Scientist ‘SD’, Geoinformatics Department. The project aim is to optimize the raster calculations using

CUDA enabled GPU in order to reduce the time complexity while using images of higher dimension and

compare the same with CPU. For illustration of this optimization technique Python has been chosen as

the base language while PyCuda accentuates the GPU computing environment.
