ExxonMobil Papua New Guinea Production Operations
Drafted the operations environmental monitoring protocol for ambient air monitoring and stack testing.
Developed the scope of work for a third party contract for the initial ambient air and stack testing programs.

Sr. E&R Advisor for the design, construction, commissioning and start-up of a green field, two train LNG facility (1
Bscfd inlet sweet gas).
Responsibilities split between oversight of LNG site “early works” construction activities, providing technical
support to company engineering design team, site EPC activities and development and submission of operations
approval applications.
Early works construction activities over a two year period included the construction of a Pioneer Camp, access
roads, security fencing and multiple on and off-shore environmental pre-construction surveys requiring approvals.
Supported the EPC contractor to develop Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Management Plans.
Technical support provided to company FEED and contractor EPC teams during both the detailed design and
construction phases for the wastewater treatment and outfall systems, waste management systems and atmospheric
emissions controls.
Regulatory responsibilities split between construction permitting and operations application development and
submissions with stewardship through to approval.

NOx and CO2 reduction projects, wastewater and groundwater sampling, waste management, incident investigation,
development and reporting of environmental Key Performance Indicators.
Additional responsibilities with the RGX expansion project FEED team to ensure environmental compliance and
best practices for designs of the two new LNG trains and sales gas facilities (4.4 Bscfd inlet sour gas).
Directly supervised five staff members and 17 supporting sub-contractors.

Advisor for the construction, commissioning and start-up of a green-field 450,000 ton/yr polyethylene plant.
Developed and implemented the Environmental Management System that included the Consent to Operate,
Environmental Clearance and the corporate environmental policies and procedures.
Developed and implemented the company environmental monitoring and reporting systems including air quality,
chemical management, waste management, water quality, noise and odour monitoring and vegetation management.
Company lead for off-shore spill response team.
