I n 1994 I opened Snappers Seafood with the investment of a silent partner. For 4 months I worked at

t ransforming Snappers from a dormant storefront into a showcase. I held daily consultations with the

general contractor, architects, engineers, and finish carpenters. I designed the kitchen layout and

purchased the equipment. I also conceptualized and implemented the interior design. Over the past

t wenty years I assisted the property management company in overseeing the large shopping center,

reporting needed maintenance and repairs, as they were not often on the property. In 2014 I sold my

shares in the company to pursue other interests.

As General Manager, I oversaw the 8 month renovation from inception to opening. I designed the

k itchen and dining room. The building was a 10,000 square foot run down restaurant. I worked side by

side with the general contractor, architects, engineers, and finish carpenters, beginning with partial

demolition to hiring all sub-contractors. Over the next 14 years, I was in charge of managing 135

employees, maintaining the building and the award winning gardens.

I was hired as a front of the house manager overseeing the bar, hostesses, bussers and service staff. I

was in charge of cash and inventory control. I managed a staff of 100 employees.

I began as a dishwasher in Long Beach, California progressed to line cook and assistant manager. The

company t ransferred me to Clearwater Beach, FL.

Personal H istory

In my 34 years in South Florida I have built 4 local restaurants and 3 homes and rehabilitated 3

others. My most monumental challenge was overseeing the construction of a 6,000 square foot

i ntracostal estate home. I was involved on a daily basis managing all aspects of the build out; from

general contractor, architects, engineers, and finish carpenters. I worked directly with the sub-

contractors in every stage of their scope of work. I am an aggressive negotiator and well organized. I

am a self-motivated person, and have proven leadership skills. I am well-respected, and have a lifetime

of personal contacts that allow me to execute tasks quickly and efficiently.

I hold Florida State License #CAM43452 for property management.

I am a father of three adult children and a granddaughter. I am a member of the Court of Master

Sommeliers ID# JS161068 w ith a vast amount of wine knowledge. I have owned and two rental

p roperties for over ten years and I am on the Board of Directors of two Condominium Associations.
