Objective

My goal is to obtain a long-term position in a positive environment where I can be a part of team

and share my experiences and learn more skills myself. I am currently searching for something that

will allow me to move closer to family that resides in the area.

Qualifications

Experience in the following areas:

Plumbing-repair and replacement of fixtures, soldering/brazing pipe, working with many styles of

fittings (sweating copper, threading iron pipe, pex, pvc/cpvc, cast iron, etc.

Electrical-repair and replacement of fixtures, bulbs, ballasts, lenses, photocells, low voltage, high

voltage, switches, running wiring, worked on ladders and lifts for parking lot lights, breaker

replacement and electic appliance diagnostics and repairs.

Hvac– general repairs and maintenance, filters, blowers, burners, igniters, sensors, and complete

replacement of units. Some experience with geo-thermal and boilers also.

Management/Training-I have managed as many as 20 techs under myself locally in maintenance

services, monitored them with phone calls, service records, online work order systems, and by

customer visits/inspections of their work. I have also been responsible for new technology roll out

procedures when they need to be installed in all facilities in a timely manner, I have experience

reading and maintaining reports on financial costs and maintaining an inventory control and

equipment monitoring systems. I am no stranger to profit and loss statements, spreadsheets, and

controlling situations that seem like chaos to others. I have been a corporate trainer in many of

these trades, organized specialty training for my techs/employees in topics such as mold, park and

recreational equipment and its certifications, health dept codes, general building codes, and as a

corporate trainer for Lowes Home Improvement I also trained store employees and customers on

installations, design, and general safety practices on many topics.

General automotive skills-Basic repair and replacement including diagnostics of vehicles.

Full time May 2012 till current

Responsible for maintenance of main building, hunters lodge, log cabin facility, and campsites.

Requiring general hvac, plumbing, electrical, and installation of new equipment or replacement of

old. Exterior maintenance and upkeep of surrounding grounds including snow removal, exterior

lighting on building, pathways, and parking lots. Utilizing vendors when needed, inspections of

elevator and any code enforcement needs (health dept/fire/building/etc. ).

This was a maintenance business I Started from the ground up, began as part time and grew to full

time with 6 employees. Consisted of doing special projects for commercial buildings, regular

maintenance, and landscaping services. Also included property preservation for Banks on vacant

properties and regular residential customers.

May of 2005 thru January of 2011

In this position I was responsible for 137 daycare centers and up to 16 technicians. I organized

routes for techs, managed our supply and inventories of parts, held monthly meetings regarding

our work order turn around times, quality of work issues, training on new technology, general

paperwork skills, and computer skills pertaining to our online work order system we utilized. I

visited and inspected locations to monitor techs and facility maintenance quality, used spreadsheets

and surveys to our customers to verify and continue to raise our quality and response times. I

received all after hour and emergency calls, then dispatched myself or another tech based on

location and type of emergency. Dealt with all code violations/requests of local health and

building code inspectors. Was Certified in playground design and codes, also received Senior tech

of the year for two years in a row when competing nationwide for this title.
