MAIN PURPOSE
Plan, coordinate, and supervise warehouse activities to ensure the maximum
utilization of resources, ensure that suppliers adhere to contractual
agreements, and that records, financial documents, and database entries
correspond to actual existing stocks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse logistics of all inbound and outbound
activities.
Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with the company policies
and procedures.
Ensure accuracy and constant update of pool items (items that can be
shared across group companies), and that any requested material or
equipment do not exist in sufficient quantities as pool items before
they are ordered by procurement
Supervise the receiving, storage, testing, and shipment ofequipment or
materials.
Grade suppliers using an evaluation model based on adherence to
contractual agreements.
Compare material requests received, and issued with material allocation
to ensure that records correspond with actual material allocation.
Ensure that physical quantities of stock correspond to entries in the
warehouse system and are also aligned with the finance system.
Oversee the update of warehouse material maps of all company warehouses
Create yearly inventory plan to be approved by the manager
Participate in the annual committee to determine re-order points (ROP)s
for all material, and continuously update and upgrade the ROP on a
monthly basis
