PROFILE More than 16 years of experience in Egyptian company for Mobil

service "Mobinil" as Cellular Access Maintenance Engineer in different

projects with strong hands-on experience in different technologies (GSM,

CDMA)

OBJECTIVES looking for a challenging leading position in maintain of a

cellular network with deep exposure to different areas of experience in

WiMAX, or LTE technology.

AUG. '1998 - JUN. '2006, RF Access Maintenance Senior Engineer.

. Regular Maintenance for micro wave equipment "Alcatel, NEC (SDH and

PDH), SAGEM, Nokia, Alcatel ADM hardware, software, commissioning

and trouble shooting including line of sight (LOS) problems solving

. Maintenance of 2G GSM900 and DCS1800 Alcatel and Motorola

equipment,

. Maintenance of 3G CDMA (BTS, BSC, Transcoder) NSN and Huawei

vendor

. Trouble shouting for short distance transmission Laser link (COM

cell and wave com cable free) and leased line (HDSL and SDSL

Telendous)

. Installation and trouble shooting of Cabling and wiring for PCM's

. Supervision in OMC-R (supervision control room of radio Mobile

network) and handle alarms with field engineers.

. Execute all work orders related to routing, upgrade micro wave,

upgrade BSC, and upgrade BTS, migration, calibration, etc...

. Sites audit to improve the KPI`s of sites quality

. Technical support for subcontractors' engineers.

. Acceptance for new sites, new equipment.

Manage & control the following activities in 950 sites:

o Subcontractors' regular maintenance activities.

o Corrective actions control.

o Sites modification control.

o Subcontractors monthly invoices control

o Main store and spare parts repair cycle.

o Technical support to subcontractors maintenance teams

o Special projects control (DDF arrangement, new SDH rings

installation, sites fees cost reduction,)

o Enhancing Network Capacity via Network Upgrading and

Reconfiguration for BTS sites, BSC sites, Transcoder, and

Transmission Backbone

o Enhancing Network Performance via reducing NUR (Network

unavailability Rate) and Alarm Handling
