SUMMARY
Mr. Ross has over twelve years of project management experience in the commercial
nuclear, construction and environmental industries and the Federal Government. His
strong organizational and technical skills have significantly contributed to the completion
of projects on schedule and under budget on a consistent basis. He has actively worked
on the front lines at construction, demolition and demobilization sites, and has been a
trusted consultant for hundreds of clients. His primary area of expertise lies in
supervision of front line personnel and developing field performance parameters for
public and private entities. His well-rounded background and experience also includes
scheduling, cost estimating, budget analysis, and procurement.
F IELDS OF CONCENTRATION
DOE Project Management
Mr. Ross has previously served as a Facility Manager at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion
Plant. He was responsible for overseeing maintenance activities site-wide, reporting
directly to the Surveillance & Maintenance Manager for the Prime Contractor.
Additionally, he performed oversight of front line supervisors, assisted with the
development of work control planning, procured equipment and tools, and implemented
the site-specific ISMS (Integrated Safety Management System).
Mr. Ross also served as an Environmental Specialist at the Battelle West Jefferson
Decommissioning Project. His responsibilities included developing work breakdown
structures and performance metrics, assisting with developing budget and scheduling
milestones, as well as overseeing soil remediation operations in the field for Cesium
contamination.
Commercial Construction Project Management
Mr. Ross has served as a senior project professional for local and regional engineering
and construction firms for over 10 years. He has been the primary consultant for these
firms serving clients such as real estate developers, financial institutions, attorneys, and
private investment groups. These consulting duties consisted of contracts negotiation,
site supervision, geotechnical analysis, and value engineering studies. Mr. Ross also
assisted with cost estimating, developing marketing strategies, and drafting scopes of
work for client review. Following pre-construction consulting activities, Mr. Ross was
then responsible for field supervision, and post-construction cost reviews.
Environmental Project Management
Mr. Ross has approximately 8 years of experience coordinating site sampling activities
for land acquisition transactions. He has performed over 200 Phase I and II ESAs
(Environmental Site Assessments) for clients in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and West
Virginia. Mr. Ross has drafted client specific project proposals, and presented written
opinions to clients based on 3rd party laboratory analysis. Mr. Ross has utilized sampling
and testing techniques such as hand augering, DPT (Direct Push Technology), and GPR
(Ground Penetrating Radar).
