I have been working as a counselor for eight years with children and
their families as well as adults to help them through trauma and help
make happier households. In my previous career as a Programmer

eligible to do supervision for LPC Candidate and I have been trained
to train foster parents in Guiding Principles.
EMPLOYMENT
3/13-12/13, Licensed Professional Counselor, Choices for Life Foster
Care, Sapulpa, OK
I started as a therapist working with children in therapeutic
foster care and supporting the foster parents, then moved to
interim clinical supervisor when the clinical supervisor who hired
me left the agency, was promoted to Clinical Supervisor, then when
a team was hired, was moved to CQI to update and keep the files in
order. During my time as Clinical Supervisor, I built a team of
therapists, worked on placing children in the foster homes, found
respite care for children in need within our system, and wrote
procedures for how to write documentation and conduct intakes.

Intervention Services, Tulsa, OK
I worked as an employee of the agency seeing minor clients in their
daycare or home after school and adult Medicaid clients in their
homes. I worked with children in foster care, children and their
families during the reunification process, families who have asked
for help as well as single adults. I used the Milan Medical system
to bill Medicaid for these services through FYIS.

Behavioral Health, Tulsa site.
I worked as an independent contractor with children and their
families as well as adults on an individual basis who were eligible

their schools/homes and the families and adults in their homes. I
helped people adjust to life circumstances, worked on behavior
modifications to make both children and their parents happier, and
other goals they had set for themselves.

County Youth Services
I worked with Youth ages 3 - 18 and their families to help them
restore equilibrium to their lives. I saw my clients during the day
at their schools and held family sessions in the evening, usually
at their homes. I worked with DHS to help children adjust to foster
care as well as with the families when the children were returned.
I was selected as Employee of the Month in Jan 2007.
